Old Man Winter!!!

Old man winter just won't leave us alone. We had some beautiful days with temps up in the high 40s. Yesterday, it snowed in the morning and melted in the afternoon. Today, we woke up to white....

...Still the button...

I went to the doctor on Thursday. She would like to leave the button on for two more weeks. She said that it would be best to allow the bone to grow some more. I have gotten rid of the splint. I really thought about burning it. I have been able to return to some normal activities. I can straighten my own hair - bathe the girls - cook, etc. Still can't lift heavy things with my left hand. I am progressing well.

Moose.....Again!!!

Tonight, we saw a moose in our backyard. Amanda came running inside very excited. Kevin went outside with her and took this picture. I don't know if you can tell, but yes, it is still SNOWING here!

Also, last week, Amanda and I felt our first earthquake. She gets so excited about it. It was a 5.2 centered about 50 miles SE of Homer. We are getting to experience so much.
