Ouzinkie

As a family, we spent a week in the village of Ouzinkie, north of Kodiak. We traveled there by ferry, which took 12 hours. Then, we took a small boat over to the village. We were there to help continue construction on the mission home. We were socked in most of the week due to heavy rain. We, the team, ran the Sunday morning chapel service. We really enjoyed our time there and are praying about the future of the village and our part in serving there.

Kindergarten Grad!!!

Amanda graduated from kindergarten this month. Here are a few pictures and a video of the students reciting the Bible verses they learned during the school year.

Fishin' Day!!!

On the 18th, Kevin and Josh got to go fishing on Johnson Lake. Josh won the guided trip through the homeschooling network. Here are a few pictures of Josh. He left today, 5/27, to go back to Texas. He will be there until the end of July. We will miss him terribly.

The button is gone!

Last Tuesday, the button was finally removed from my finger. I can now return to doing all those daily things we all do with the use of my left hand. Kevin is really excited about this part! The picture show how my fingernail looks today. If you look closely, you can see the two small holes where the sutures went through my finger nail. It is doing so much better. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Our Little Indian Princesses

This weekend, Kevin helped the girls make their own bows & arrows out of sticks found in our yard. He helped them make their headbands, too. For Amanda, he made her a quiver out of cardboard. Isn't he amazing and so creative. Sherri

Heading back.....

We will be heading back to Ouzinkie on Tuesday, the 6th of May for a week. Sherri, the kids, Me and a few men are heading back to finishing up some sheetrock work that we started. We are also going as a family to seek the Lord as to our future with this ministry. Please keep praying with us for wisdom and discernment. Blessings and more to come, Kevin
